Requirements

▪ Our credit card reader will work with ANY merchant account (see below) but you will only receive swipe discount rates if your merchant account is setup for “Card Present” transactions.
▪ To use this credit card reader you must have a decryption enabled gateway. If you are using Authorize.net then you can switch to our decryption enabled gateway with free Authorize.net emulator service (see below).
▪ Our credit card swiper will work with iPod touch 2G and 3G, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. An iPhone 4 version is in development for release by Q4 2010.
▪ Our credit card reader requires iMerchant Pro Credit Card Terminal for 99 cents. It will not work with any other iPhone credit card terminal app.

Using Authorize.net?

Our credit card reader does not require Authorize.net. However, if you need Authorize.net then our decryption enabled gateway will emulate Authorize.net too! If you are already using Authorize.net then just have your web person point your shopping cart or e-commerce software at our gateway and you just saved money on your Authorize.net gateway fee (subject to their cancellation terms of course).
